2015 Wedding Trends We Love!

As we prepare for our 2015 wedding season, our brides are sharing lots of great ideas they want us to bring to life. To help you get started, here are some of the trends we’re seeing early on. Don’t forget to visit our Pinterest page for more inspiration and pin some of the wonderful images below….

Unstructured, Wild, + Overgrown

The loose look is perfect for capturing that coveted rustic style while still imparting the elegance of a traditional wedding. An unstructured design looks like a casual hand-made, vintage wedding but the careful choices of flowers and vessel provide the chic, flawless look you want. Pops of dramatic colors like burgundy, magenta, orange or yellow only add to that wild look, but soft beige and blush work just as nicely. Either way, wild greens are the key to this look.

Hang It Like You Mean It

Whimsical weddings started popping up heavily in 2014 and we are seeing a lot of brides wanting a cozy, warm environment for their rustic wedding. Hanging natural elements is my favorite way to do this. In a big beautiful tent, hung flowers and greens can make the large space seem intimate and playful. It also helps to bring in the surrounding outdoor environment, continuing the scene right until the last dance. This is a great look for the bride who leans toward the side of hipster or boho-chic, another popular trend this year.

Framing the Nuptials

Arbors are all the rage for ceremonies right now, and not just any arbors. Brides want to feel enveloped by lush and large blooms when the end their walk down the aisle. Framing the couple in this way is not only gorgeous for pictures, but it creates a special space for just the two of you to say your I Do’s. We are loving the use of wild, overgrown vines and big flowers for these looks.

Marsala (Otherwise know as wine, burgundy, berry…..)

Marsala is the official pantone color of 2015. Wondering what that means? Well, unless you’re a  fall bride, this dark shade may not work for you. The good news is a variation of marsala could be just what you’re looking for. Some of our favorite pairings with marsala include standards like blush, sage green, and even gold….

For spring,  pair marsala with blush and cream or a bright blue.

For summer, a lot of bright greens or a creamy peach/orange shade work beautifully.

For fall, go all out and incorporate dark shades with pops of ivory or touches of gray.

Signs Everywhere!

Signs are the easiest way to add a personal touch to your wedding. Whether it’s beautifully designed chalkboards or expertly printed stationery, a good font can create a wedding style all on it’s own. Carrying the same design from the bar, gift table, and menu over to a photo booth, fire pit, or favor make your event a cohesive and memorable event.
