Rustic NJ Wedding: Amie & Dan

Rustic NJ Wedding: Amie & Dan

This fall wedding makes us FALL in love with Crossed Keys Estate all over again! It was a real challenge to choose my favorite images from Markow Photography‘s collection. Seriously, the struggle is real! Though I’m a summer wedding girl at heart, these pictures make me swoon. The October setting at Crossed Keys Estate makes this a truly rustic NJ wedding. And that dress is every bit as romantic and vintage feeling as the venue. Don’t forget to check out Markow Photography’s blog for more beautiful shots. Congratulations again Amie & Dan! Setting the tone for the day: romantic gardens & loving friends While the girls get ready in the playhouse, the guys relax at the house. My favorite picture of the bunch! The mountains are perfectly orange this time of year. The sky in the valley here never ceases to amaze me. Stunning. Pictures of the kids is something every photographer should capture. Look how cute! It’s always nice when the bride & groom can take a moment to...

Mason Jar Wedding Madness!

Mason Jar Wedding Madness!

When it comes to mason jars, not everyone is as savvy as the jam making-pickling-overnight oats-mavens of the world. But when it comes to weddings and mason jars, we’ve got you covered. Many brides ask us about sizes when it comes to making their wedding vision come true. So we created a quick and dirty guide to knowing your mason jar sizes. If you’re considering mason jar mugs, we recommend the 16 oz size as drinks stay filled longer and thus, shorter lines at the bar.  We’ve also used the 8 oz jars for refreshments pre-ceremony, as most people just need a little something to quench their thirst and will often only be using that glass for only 10-15 minutes before they sit down. If you’re doing something extra special like a large arrangement or using a jar to collect “advice for the newlyweds” or similar guestbook notes, mason jars come in half gallon (64 oz) and gallon (128 oz) sizes as well. Don’t forget to personalize your mason jars with spray paint, glue, glitter, and anything else you can think of! {Find the how-to’s here: “5 Ways to Paint Mason...
Spring Blooms, Love Blossoms

Spring Blooms, Love Blossoms

A beautiful day in May brought Hilary and Ryan to Crossed Keys Inn for a celebration of love and happiness. The freshly bloomed lilacs and lime green grass were a prefect backdrop to this classic, elegant wedding. Not only was the bride’s look STUNNING (I mean look at that hair, earrings, dress… the list goes on), but the pink dogwoods, white and blue centerpieces, and billowing white fabric of the tent made this wedding one of the most romantic ones we have ever seen. Thank you to Kelly Kollar for these gorgeous images! Click here to see more of this beautiful wedding. Floral & Decor by Event Designs by...
