Tell us about your unforgettable Crossed Keys wedding experience!

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you what a wonderful time everyone had at Jenn’s wedding. The place is gorgeous, even prettier than the photos on the web site, and everyone continues to talk about the food. So much food and it was all fantastic. The appetizers had something for everyone and I could have made a meal just from those, Sue & I both enjoyed the sea bass and the beef just melted in our mouth.

The fire pit is a nice addition, especially with an autumn wedding, providing a nice transition between the warmth of the setting sun and the cool fall evening. I can’t imagine any wedding party not being enamored with the whole package making “their day” a dream come true.

Dear Katherine,

It has been three weeks since our daughter’s wedding at beautiful Crossed Keys yet the notes, phone calls and conversations continue commenting on the “wow” time everyone had that day.

The theme of the “bread & butter” kind comments was generally the same from everyone: unique, awesome, incredible food (especially the cocktail hour!), openness, freedom, great band, “what about that firepit!”, best wedding, and “unforgettable.”

Dear Katherine and Celso,

Where do we begin? It was love at first sight when we came to look at Crossed Keys a year ago. You both are the most gracious, accommodating hosts anyone could ever ask for. Staying at your bed and breakfast was like staying with relatives, so relaxed and fun. Whatever we needed, our concerns, everything and anything was taken care of.

We have been getting calls since we got home on Sunday and each message is nothing but gushing about the best wedding they have ever been to. The venue is out of this world and the food, not to be believed.

Tara is our only daughter and we wanted her dream wedding, and before she left for the honeymoon, she said, "Mom and Dad this was the wedding of my dreams." That said it all. We were so proud of her and Ben, our hearts felt like they were going to burst. They said there was nothing at all they would change about their wedding day, and even the weather held out, just like you both said it would.

Parents can ask no more after their daughter’s wedding day, than to see their daughter and her new husband convey their satisfaction and pleasure in stating that their very special wedding day was “picture perfect”.

We thank you for treating our daughter’s wedding as the “only one” even though you have so many more. Your creativity, elegance, and artistry was so appreciated as was your willingness to allow Becky and Pat to show theirs’. We thank Celso for being such a unique individual, beyond a superior chef! (He marched from kitchen to firepit, amazing many of our guests with his energy!)
